This weekend, Williamsburg Walks is taking over Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg. The street will be closed to cars from 1pm-7pm and will feature innovative programming encouraging the neighborhood and event attendees to “Rethink Our Public Space.” DoTankers have been working to make the event as successful as possible helping to organize the skill share block where knowledge and ideas will flow like wine, creating 10 ft tall wayfinding signs to make sure everyone knows what is going on where, and coordinating tours of the neighborhood including an artisanal food tour, a street art tour, and a tour just for flaneurs.
Also, DoTank:Brooklyn will have a booth as part of the skill share block where we will be building pallet chairs. So be sure to stop by and grab a hammer!
